CoG 10,000km Cycle Challenge

  • by

During June, 25 Goodrich parents were due to take on the G2G, the 350km ride from Goodrich Castle in Herefordshire back to the school. Unfortunately, COVID-19 meant abandoning those plans this year.

Despite this disappointment, the G2G team and other members of CoG (Cyclists of Goodrich) did not want to sit back and do nothing, so instead set a new challenge to collectively cycle 10,000km, the equivalent of cycling to Paris and back five times!

Join the challenge

If you are a parent or carer at Goodrich you can join CoG team and take part in the challenge, too. Simply sign up at CoG’s Strava group. Children can join too, all they need to do is email cyclistsofgoodrich@gmail.com with their name, class, date of ride, duration and distance. All rides made during the week 15th -21st June will count towards the 10,000km total.

Sponsor the team

All donations are welcome and all funds raised will go towards new trikes and bikes for nursery and reception and mini-trampolines for PE lessons. You can sponsor the team <here>.
