Goodrich Rocks, 4th July, 2019!

Glastonbury, you say? Nah, Goodrich Rocks is where it’s at, obvs 😉 It may be just as tricky to get your paws on a ticket though, so don’t sleep! Goodrich Rocks entry wristbands go on sale outside the lower hall and in the playground from this Thursday, priced at £3 and t-shirts are £5.

Goodrich Rocks is on Thursday 4th July and doors open at 4.30pm for a 5pm start, with the action wrapping up at around 7pm. This year we have an awesome line up of 12 bands/soloists and 6 dance troupes. They’ll all be performing to get their hands on the coveted GR trophy – but more importantly to have an amazing time, so please come along to cheer them as loudly as you can! Plus there’s a bar, hot dogs and veggie dogs, tuck shop and glitter station.

Huge congratulations to Albie Base who designed our awesome Goodrich Rocks 2019 logo which will adorn the event t-shirts! Plus well done to runner up Mia Hill whose band design also features on the poster.

And of course, enormous thanks to our sponsors Plus Rooms and Daisy Lets and Sales, without whom none of this could happen!

Goodrich to Goodrich cycle challenge raises £9,000!

Our 14 intrepid Goodrich dads cycled a mind-blowing 350km over two days last weekend, raising an amazing £9,020 for the school. They started near Goodrich Castle – close to Wales – and pedalled through rain, floods and some beautiful countryside returning to school in time for the Summer Fair and a massive Goodrich welcome!

Well done to all the riders, many of whom had never pedalled such a distance, and especially to organisers Matthew Chiles and David Sargen. Huge thanks to sponsors DRS and Balfe’s Bikes for accompanying the riders with a technical support van. Plus to Family Feasts for supplying the first night’s dinner and mid-ride snacks and Pinkfrog Design for designing the team logo. And of course THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the team’s fundraising page, for your amazing generosity.

We have now formed a Goodrich cycling club, and are hoping more mums, dads and other family members will feel inspired to try out cycling or take part in future events of varying distances!  Please contact if you’re interested in finding out more.

Goodrich Fun Run 2019!

A HUGE thank you to the 418 runners who took part in this year’s Goodrich Fun Run, on a beautiful sunny morning in Peckham Rye Park. You rock! A special well done to all the winners, and to the fancy dress participants who definitely brought the fun. Plus big thank yous to everyone who cheered, high-fived, volunteered and organised the event. And of course to our sponsors, whose awesome support means we can raise as much money as possible for the school: Plus Rooms, DRS, Dulwich Design Kitchens, Timber Windows Dulwich and Spot Dry Cleaners.

One of our parents summed it up perfectly: “Just wanted to say a huge thank you for yesterday, it was fantastic! Brilliantly organised, I loved its environmentally respectful approach and the atmosphere was beautiful…a community of people celebrating health and well being. It conveys a strong message to our children about fitness, personal achievement and being part of a community.”
