Friends of Goodrich (FoG) exists to enrich the education and experience of all children attending Goodrich Community Primary School.
We raise money for…
Off-site adventures; like day trips to the seaside and residential stays at activity centres or farms.
Books and Learning Resources; supporting events like World Book Day & Black History Month
Playground Improvements some School Maintenance
Environmental Activities such as Forest School, Garden Planting, Pond upkeep and Allotment activities
Leaver Hoodies and Year Books
Equipment for staff and pupils; like laptops and tablets during lockdown.
Sports Competitions and Playground / P.E. Equipment
Events
We run events and activities that are primarily FUN, that (sometimes) raise money and encourage good relationships and communications between parents, children and the school. We organise Summer and Christmas Fairs, parent quiz nights, children’s discos, Goodrich Rocks mini-festival, annual Fun Run and end of term cake sales, to name but a few!
Fundraising
FoG raises a large proportion of the funds through our events and activities and children led initiatives (tea towels and Christmas cards, for example). We have strong relationships with local businesses who support us through donations and sponsorship deals, and we also take advantage of other quick and easy initiatives, such as give-as-you-shop schemes, payroll giving and match funding.

A little history
Friends of Goodrich (FoG) is the Parent and Teacher Association (PTA) for Goodrich Community Primary School, East Dulwich, London SE22. Founded in 1986, FoG is a registered charity.
We are a group of parent and carer volunteers who raise vital money for the school, with the wonderful support of the local community.
As a parent or carer, you are automatically a member of the Goodrich PTA. Being involved with fundraising for the school is a great way to make friends and make a difference. The funds we raise contribute to enriching the education and experience of all children attending the school, against a backdrop of increasingly-squeezed budgets.
How can I get involved?
Would you like to help enrich the experience of your child and their friends at Goodrich?
Whether it’s half an hour on a stall at a fair, or selling raffle tickets or taking on a committee role – we’d love to hear from you! And if you have a new fundraising idea or feedback on how the funds raised could benefit pupils even more, just get in touch! friendsofgoodrich@gmail.com
