FoG Fit for Summer
Join us from 13th July and start the summer holidays refreshed and full of energy. Clean 9 is a 9 day nutritional cleansing programme from Forever Living. The course normally retails for £108.48, but is available through FoG for £100, with £33.60 going to FoG
Why not get together with other Goodrich parents to support each other through the course and you can raise additional funds from sponsorship for completing the detox programme. The Clean 9 pack includes: Aloe Vera Gel (3 x 1 litre bottles), Forever Lite Ultra ( 1 x vanilla), Forever Garcinia Plus and Forever Bee Pollen. It is that time of year folks and we need your help to make sure the summer fair goes with a swing!
Many stalls at the summer fair depend entirely on the generosity and goodwill of Goodrich parents and pupils – always hugely appreciated.
Can you donate any of the following?
● Teddies for the Teddy Tombola (always a popular stall)
● Bottles for the Bottle Tombola (wine, juice, olive oil, vinegar, anything that comes in a bottle!)
● Jolly Jam Jars for the Jolly Jam Jar Stall (Fill an empty jar with goodies, sweets/mini toys/marbles – use your imagination and make them pretty)
Start bringing these items into your classrooms and give to the teacher from now on. There will be a PRIZE for the class who donates the most!
Please also be thinking about:
Plants – for the Plant stall } These two items will be needed in the
Cakes – for the Cafe } week running up to the Summer Fair (ie from Mon 11th July)
As well as our stalls, every year we have a RAFFLE and ask if any kind parents could donate raffle prizes. Prizes could be anything, from a luxury unwanted gift you may have received to an experience you may be able to offer. Maybe you work for a company that could donate a raffle prize? Please have a think and see if anything from your personal or working life could be used as way to raise money for Goodrich!
Finally, our last request is for Volunteers, volunteers, volunteers!
We need lots of people to come and help run the stalls – if you can commit to half an hour on a stall that would be fab.
Kids, it’s your fair!
Any pupils, year 4 and up who would like to help run one of the stalls listed above please let us know too. You will need to be there with your parents - maybe you could offer to run a stall with them, a family project! Teachers, if you would like to run a stall with some class volunteers, that would be fantastic too – it’s sure to be a bonding event.

Our all-new ‘pampering’ or ‘body’ zone will offer head and shoulder massage, nail painting, possibly manicures, hair braiding and health and beauty products for sale. If you would like to be involved in this area of the fair, again please do be in touch.
We have already secured some great outside traders who will be having jewellery and cushions stalls and the like. Again, if you are the creative type and would like to sell your wares, please contact us for availability.
The programme for the STAGE is taking shape. But if you have any ideas for performances on the stage on the day for us to consider, do be in touch. There will be a p.a, as well as microphones and a drum kit.
If you are happy to have an ACORN estate agents board up outside your house advertising the fair please be in touch with your address as they will donate £10 a board.
So there we have it – we’re excited about what promises to be a great day with a bit of input from those who fancy it.

So far this year we have raised an amazing £10,000 with our fantastic Fun Run making up the lion’s share (and we are still counting!). However it is our regular activities such as the cake sales and the treasure hunts which consistently bring in the funding and we want to thank you for supporting these events.

It is time to start thinking about your summer show entries. Last year there was a fantastic display out of cakes, brownies, plants, crafts, cress heads, flowers, photographs, drawings and lots more. The winning entries were spectacular.
You can complete and submit your entry below. The deadline for entries is Wednesday 13th July.
